Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 May 2026

The operating rules for using Comfrey Beta, its tools, and provider connections.

These terms cover your use of Comfrey Beta. Comfrey is a trading name of Acre Supply Co. Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08660871) with its registered office at 61 St. John's Road, Bedminster, Bristol, England, BS3 4JJ. By signing in or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not, do not use the service.

What Comfrey Beta is

Comfrey Beta is an early-access product. It is provided to help us learn what is useful and what is not. Tools may change, move, or be removed without notice. Features and quotas may be adjusted as we test them.

The beta currently includes tooling for Make.com and Adobe Workfront Fusion. Other providers may be added or removed.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account, the accuracy of the information you give us, and keeping your sign-in method secure. Do not share your account with anyone else.

Access to the beta is granted at our discretion and may be suspended or withdrawn if you misuse the service, breach these terms, or attempt to harm Comfrey, our infrastructure, or other users.

Provider connections and your data

When you connect Make or Fusion, you give us API keys or tokens so we can read scenarios, modules, blueprints, and run metadata on your behalf. You confirm that you have the right to share that data with us and to authorise us to use it as described in our Privacy Policy.

You retain all rights in your provider data. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to operate Comfrey Beta for you. Comfrey does not push, edit, or delete anything in your provider workspace.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload, connect, or process data you do not have the right to share;
  • attempt to access another customer's data or workspace;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or stress-test the service beyond normal use;
  • use Comfrey to break the terms of any third-party service (including Make and Fusion);
  • use the service to do anything unlawful.

Quotas and feedback

Beta tools have run quotas. The deal is simple: you get a number of free runs, and after the cap, leaving honest feedback unlocks more. Quotas, caps, and feedback rules may change as we tune the beta.

When you submit feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free right to use it to improve Comfrey, including in anonymised or aggregated form. We will not publish your name or feedback attributed to you without your permission.

Beta status, no warranties

Comfrey Beta is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Beta software changes frequently and may break. Do not use it for anything sensitive or production-critical until the corresponding tooling has graduated out of beta.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Subject to that, Comfrey will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the beta.

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the beta is capped at £100. The beta is provided free of charge, and this cap reflects that.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Comfrey Beta at any time by deleting your connections and asking us to close your account.

We may suspend or terminate your access — with or without notice — if you breach these terms, if we have to wind down the beta, or if a tool graduates out of beta. We will give reasonable notice before closing the beta where we can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. If a change is material, we will notify beta users by email or in-product banner. Continued use of the beta after the effective date counts as acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
